How do the saints view the world of movies? Is there still a strong resistance to attending theatrical films? What relationship do we have with television broadcasts of movies? Do any popular films have relevance for us? Do we need to have such cultural moorings to engage the larger society? Is there a genuine COGIC presence in the film world?

I am curious whether there are saints interested in discussing these issues. In particular fellow afficionados are encouraged to join, but critics of movie-going are also welcome.
